I am a Western Slope native with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development & Family Studies and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have 10+ years of experience working with children in an elementary school setting, serving kindergarten and first grade students; and experience with children in a clinical setting, serving preschool-aged children with ADHD & autism. My passion for serving some of the most vulnerable children led me to become a foster mom for 3 years. My diverse background blends a deep passion for fostering young learners’ growth with practical expertise in child development and family engagement. I believe every child deserves a joyful, supportive space to explore and learn. I approach challenges with optimism, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth. I am energetic and passionate about the families and staff that she serves. I bring creativity and a warm sense of fun to every role that I am in. With a steadfast dedication to nurturing young minds and strengthening families, Johanna brings a unique perspective—born of classroom success, clinical collaboration, and the joys of motherhood—to every role she undertakes. Her infectious enthusiasm and professional expertise ignite a lifelong love of learning in all that she does. She is thrilled to be the Director of Little Lambs Learning Center and excited to be serving in this capacity. 

When I am not working, I love to spend time with my husband and our son, some of my hobbies include camping, hiking, and reading.
